Marble elaborate vase, “kandila”

Impressive size, brightness of white marble, as well as the art of symmetry in the rendering of the shape, elevate marble ‘kandiles’ into prestige objects of the Cycladic society. These vases are mainly used as funerary offerings in rich burials.
