Bronze pins with a rock-crystal head – Aspects of Beauty

Dress pins of this type were used by the first generations of the Mycenaean elite and were probably worn in special occasions. One of them has also been associated with the use of opium because of its shape, reminiscent of an inverted poppy capsule.
